Information
More and more people are pursuing a lifestyle that makes them ill: diets with too much (hidden) sugar, unhealthy fats and artificial additives, as well as a lack of exercise, lead to an increase in weight and also impair the sugar and fat metabolism. This is reflected, among other things, in the steadily increasing incidence of metabolic diseases such as type 2 diabetes.
The starting point for these metabolic disorders can often be found in the intestine because malnutrition and lack of exercise damage the useful intestinal flora by massively reducing the probiotic bacteria in their number and especially in their diversity.
As a result, the intestinal barrier can be disturbed: The task of the barrier is actually to separate the intestinal contents from our organism and to specifically absorb only substances from the food that are useful for our body. However, if the intestinal barrier becomes permeable due to stress or poor nutrition (“leaky gut”), then those substances from the intestine can enter our organism which should not be the case. These include among others toxic bacterial components (e.g. lipopolysaccharides, or LPS for short) that can cause serious damage to the rest of the body: The organism reacts to this in various places with inflammation – and these also restrict the function of those organs that are responsible for the metabolism of fat and sugar.
Several studies show that the use of OMNi-BiOTiC® METAtox clearly improves various parameters of sugar and fat metabolism in overweight adults.
Function
Several clinical studies provide evidence for the association between the gut and various metabolic disorders. OMNi-BiOTiC® METAtox is a food for special medical purposes* (balanced diet) for the dietary management of disorders or the sugar and fat metabolism in overweight adults (e.g. type 2 diabetes).
OMNi-BiOTiC® METAtox contains 9 scientifically tested bacterial strains which exhibit the following characteristics and properties, which define the intended use of the product:
- Improve blood fat levels (e.g. cholesterol)
- Improve the sugar metabolism
- Improve the function of the intestinal barrier
- Significantly reduce endotoxin exposure
- Are activated by the contained matrix of enzymes and minerals

Recommended use
Once or twice daily, stir 1 sachet of OMNi-BiOTiC® METAtox (=3 g) in a glass of water (approx. 125ml) at room temperature, wait at least 1 minute for bacterial activation, stir again and then drink. OMNi-BiOTiC® METAtox should preferably be taken on an empty stomach.
If you take OMNi-BiOTiC® METAtox twice a day, intake right after waking up in the morning and before going to bed in the evening is suggested.
Additional information
It is recommended to take OMNi-BiOTiC® METAtox for a longer period. This is a tested and meaningful intake mechanism. OMNi-BiOTiC® METAtox only includes bacterial strains that can be found naturally in the human intestine.

Important information
