Healthy intestine = strong immune system

For whom is OMNi-LOGiC IMMUN suitable?

Apart from the tasks of food ingestion and the elimination of indigestible residues, our intestine is very important for our immune system. About 80% of the immune cells are located in our intestine. There is a life-long, intensive symbiosis between our body and its bacterial cohabitants. However, this relationship can be negatively influenced by the wrong diet, permanent stress, lack of sleep or medication intake. The natural balance in the colonisation of "good" and "bad" intestinal bacteria gets out of control, our intestinal barrier, the intestinal mucosa, becomes permeable for toxins, allergens and foreign microorganisms – our immune defence system is weakened.

Certain bacteria in the colon, namely bifido bacteria and lactobacilli, produce among other things butyrate (butyric acid, a short-chained fatty acid), which is the primary energy source for our intestinal epithelium. If this epithelium is well supplied, it can carry out its diversified functions, which include the targeted inclusion of nutrients as well as the defence against toxins and pathogens. If the butyric acid level falls, on the other hand, changes occur in the intestinal mucosa, and our intestinal barrier is weakened.

How does OMNi-LOGiC IMMUN work?

In order to maintain the normal function of its immune system, on the one hand the body depends on the presence of sufficient “good” intestinal bacteria, and on the other hand on a sufficient supply with different nutrients.

The supply of viable symbionts (= probiotics) strengthens the “good” intestinal bacteria. These bacteria strains also require oxygen for their metabolism – these are so-called aerobic or usually only facultative anaerobic bacteria.

However, not all bacteria strains can simply be “ingested” – a large portion of our intestinal bacteria is namely strictly anaerobic and can therefore not be cultivated or preserved outside of the body. As soon as they encounter oxygen, they die. Therefore our anaerobic friends need special food (= prebiotics): if we feed these bacteria their favourite foods, we create an optimal habitat for them in our intestine. As thanks in return, the “good” intestinal inhabitants multiply and do their work optimally.

OMNi LOGiC IMMUN offers a food source for the proliferation of bifido bacteria and lactobacilli – namely resistant starch – as well as valuable vitamins, mineral nutrients, and trace elements, to maintain the normal functioning of the immune system.

Resistant starch stimulates fermentation and hence causes:

  • the proliferation of important bifido bacteria and lactobacilli
  • the production of short-chained fatty acids (such as butyrate) for more energy
  • an increase in biomass (amount of faeces) = improved transport

The contained B vitamins (vitamin B2 and B3) contribute, among other things, to the preservation of normal mucous membrane functioning and hence strengthen the barrier function. Calcium plays an important role in the normal functioning of the digestive enzymes, and vitamin D & zinc have been scientifically proven to contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.

How is OMNi-LOGiC IMMUN applied?

Stir 5 g (5 g = 1 level measuring spoon) in 0.2 l water/juice etc. 3 x daily and drink at once (activation time is not necessary).

Combine OMNi-LOGiC IMMUN with the proven and reliable OMNi-BiOTiC® 6: Six particularly active indicative microorganism strains in OMNi-BiOTiC® 6 colonise in the intestine and multiply there – from the stomach to the rectum.
