Ci ammaliamo pi\u00f9 facilmente, ci sentamo pi\u00f9 nervosi e, nel peggiore dei casi,\u00a0 tutto questo rischia di sfociare in un burn-out.<\/p><p>Il nostro<strong> intestino<\/strong>, in particolare, \u00e8 molto <strong>sensibile allo stress<\/strong>: questo pu\u00f2 causare la riduzione di batteri intestinali benefici e rendere l&#8217;intestino pi\u00f9 <strong>permeabile a tossine, agenti patogeni e allergeni.<\/strong> Le infiammazioni aumentano e possono diffondersi in tutto il corpo, fino ad arrivare al cervello. Anche la produzione di ormoni fondamentali come la <strong>serotonina<\/strong>(l&#8217;ormone della felicit\u00e0) e la<strong> melatonina <\/strong>(l&#8217;ormone del sonno) pu\u00f2 essere compromessa causando notti ionsonni e sbalzi d&#8217;umore.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-12569b7 e-con-full rilasciando <strong>neurotrasmettitori<\/strong> (i messaggeri chimici delle cellule nervose) e <strong>ormoni dello stress<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Immediatamente aumentano la pressione sanguigna, la frequenza cardiaca e respiratoria, i livelli di zucchero nel sangue, cos\u00ec come l\u2019afflusso di sangue alla pelle e ai muscoli. Un elemento centrale di questa comunicazione \u00e8 il sistema nervoso. Nel tratto digerente si trovano circa 100 milioni di cellule nervose \u2013 quattro o cinque volte di pi\u00f9 rispetto al midollo spinale \u2013 motivo per cui l\u2019intestino viene spesso definito il nostro \u201csecondo cervello\u201d. Questo sistema nervoso enterico, detto anche \u201ccervello della pancia\u201d, lavora in sinergia con il cervello principale per regolare numerose funzioni, tra cui: la <strong data-start=\"918\" data-end=\"942\">motilit\u00e0 intestinale<\/strong> (cio\u00e8 il movimento dei muscoli del tratto digerente), il <strong data-start=\"1002\" data-end=\"1034\">flusso sanguigno intestinale<\/strong>, e importanti <strong data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1075\">funzioni immunitarie<\/strong>. Anche gli <strong data-start=\"1088\" data-end=\"1098\">ormoni<\/strong> \u2013 veri e propri messaggeri chimici \u2013 giocano un ruolo chiave nell\u2019asse intestino-cervello. Nell\u2019intestino vengono prodotti oltre <strong data-start=\"1228\" data-end=\"1241\">20 ormoni<\/strong>, tra cui la <strong data-start=\"1254\" data-end=\"1288\">maggior parte della serotonina<\/strong>, il cosiddetto <strong data-start=\"1304\" data-end=\"1329\">ormone della felicit\u00e0<\/strong>, responsabile del buonumore e del benessere emotivo. Durante il sonno vengono elaborate le impressioni e le esperienze accumulate nel corso della giornata.
