Najpogostej\u0161i vzroki vklju\u010dujejo slabe prehranske navade \u2013 hitro prehranjevanje povzro\u010di po\u017eiranje ve\u010dje koli\u010dine zraka, ki nato vstopi v prebavni trakt.<\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"319\" data-end=\"808\">Ve\u010dina zraka v \u010drevesju nastane med presnovnimi procesi v samem \u010drevesju oziroma zaradi aktivnosti \u010drevesnih bakterij. Ta proces \u0161e dodatno spodbudijo dolo\u010dena \u017eivila (npr.<strong> \u017eivila z veliko vlakninami<\/strong>, kot so zelje, stro\u010dnice in \u010debula). Tudi zelo mastna, bogata ali sladka hrana ter prekomerno <strong>u\u017eivanje alkohola<\/strong> <strong>ali kave<\/strong> lahko povzro\u010dijo vetrove. Sladila, ki jih najdemo v \u0161tevilnih dietnih, lahkih in brezsladkornih izdelkih (npr. <strong>sorbitol<\/strong> in ksilitol), prav tako <strong>tvorijo prese\u017eek plinov.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"810\" data-end=\"1108\"><strong>Vetrovi<\/strong> so tudi zna\u010dilen simptom sindroma razdra\u017eljivega \u010drevesja. Psiholo\u0161ki dejavniki, kot so <strong>stres ali tesnoba<\/strong>, hormoni (npr. med nose\u010dnostjo ali ob za\u010detku menstruacije), prav tako lahko spodbujajo tvorbo plinov v \u010drevesju.
