How it all began...
Institut AllergoSan was founded in 1991. It was born out of an idea from 20 doctors who needed allergen-free food and medicine for their patients and sought the help of pharmacist Friedrich Frauwallner. The majority of our customers at that time had been fighting chronic skin diseases such as neurodermatitis and psoriasis for years and now suddenly found relief from their suffering.
In 1992, Anita Frauwallner took over the management and pushed a special holistic medical approach, namely that a person’s health is essentially conditioned by a healthy digestive system. As early as 1993, the first probiotics were introduced alongside allergen-free foods and orthomolecular food supplements. In 1995, the first probiotic of the OMNi-BiOTiC® brand was introduced.
